A little about us.

We’re glad you’re here.

Weddings are a foundational celebration in human culture and have been a vessel for centuries in forging lifelong core memories. We care deeply about capturing imagery that provokes the most vivid memories and is a reflection of who you see yourself to be.

We are honest, intentional, and experienced professionals who have worked in a variety of settings, with a range of people, vendors, and relationships for over 10+ years. We prioritize making our work a safe space for all and documenting photographs that best visualize what your relationship feels like.

We are first and foremost, considerate and empathetic humans who recognize the significance and vulnerabilities that come with a wedding day, and secondly, are vibrant creators who seek opportunities to humanize and document the wedding experience in the most beautiful way possible. We prioritize relationships with our clients that are personal, and not transactional, and always seek to be approachable as vendors and new friends.

If you care about feeling empowered, reflected beautifully, and treated kindly, we are here for you.

Our approach

Who are we

We are Kiara + David Talley. We met on a photography website in 2011 when we lived on two different continents in opposing hemispheres, taking photographs for fun. In 2015 on a whim and after 4 years of online friendship, we had tickets booked to meet each other. We both always secretly hoped we would end up together and when we finally met, we knew we’d be inseparable.

After a year and a half of international long-distance, we started the process to be able to live in the same country together and eloped in December of 2016 in Joshua Tree, under the quietness of the desert sky.

Indwell was formed as we merged our two successful wedding photography businesses into one that defined our passion for celebrating love. Photographing weddings and seeing our couples celebrating their love still gives us so much joy. It also gives us an appreciation for our own wild story and reminds us how special it is to find your person.
